Like many other websites, we also use "cookies". Cookies are small text files which are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data, such as IP address, browser, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or to transmit viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our web pages.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

You can, of course, also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can, in general, disable the use of cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that some functions of our website may not be available if you have disabled the use of cookies.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries of any kind by email or via the contact form, we ask for your voluntary consent so that we can contact you. A valid email address is required for this purpose. This is used to assign the request to the correct address and then reply to it. The disclosure of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Once your request has been processed, your personal data will be automatically deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). The Google Analytics service uses "cookies" which are text files placed on your computer enabling an analysis of the website use. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. When the IP address anonymity function is enabled on this website, however, then your IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatories to the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website traffic, and to provide other services for the website operator relating to the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

The purposes of data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on the website traffic with a view to providing other related services based on the use of the website and the Internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may refuse the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use the full range of functions on this website. You may also prevent Google from tracking and processing the data generated by the cookies relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by clicking on the following link and downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and for this browser in future as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API in order to display geographical information visually. Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors who use Google Maps. You can find more information about the data processing practices of Google in the Google Privacy Policy. You can also change your personal privacy settings there in the data protection centre.

Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our web pages. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube servers will be established. YouTube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube will be able to assign your surfing habits to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies which collect information about consumer behaviour.

If you have disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ads program, you need not anticipate any such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal information on patterns of use in other cookies, however. If you want to prevent this, you need to block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at "YouTube" can be found in the data privacy statement of the provider under the following link:

Social plug-ins

Social plug-ins of the providers listed below are used on our web pages. You can recognise the plug-ins by their respective logos.

Certain information, which may include personal data, will be sent via these plug-ins in some circumstances to the service provider and may be used by the latter. We operate a two-click solution in order to prevent the unconscious and inadvertent collection of data and their transmission to the service provider. Any social plug-in which is required must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. No information will be collected and transmitted to the service provider until the plug-in is activated in this way. We ourselves do not collect any personal data by means of the social plug-ins or data about their use.

We have no control over which data an activated plug-in collects and how the data are used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that there will be a direct connection to the services of the provider and that at least the IP address and hardware-related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service providers will try to save cookies on the computer which is used. Please refer to the data privacy policy issued by the respective service provider to find out which specific data are collected and how they are used. Please note that if you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a specific page.

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

Google AdWords

Our website uses the Google conversion tracking tool. If you have reached our website via an advertisement run by Google, Google AdWords will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie will be set when a user clicks on an advertisement run by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to the relevant pages. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information which personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to allow the tracking function, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – using browser settings which generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies, for example, or setting your browser so that cookies are blocked by the "" domain.

Please note that you will not be permitted to delete the opt-out cookies while you have opted against the recording of measurement data. If you have deleted all the cookies in your browser, you will need to set the relevant opt-out cookie again.

Changes to our data privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this data privacy statement so that it complies with the legal requirements in force at any given time or in order to make changes to our services in the data privacy statement, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data privacy statement will then apply on your next visit.
